Are forever chemicals in my blood?
The real answer
Very likely. Nearly all people in the United States have measurable amounts of PFAS, the chemicals often called forever chemicals, in their blood. A blood test for PFAS will not tell you about a current or future health problem (the CDC’s Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry).
The house’s version
Seen here: the non-stick pan. Nothing sticks to it. Its coating comes from a family of forever chemicals, and they stick to everyone else instead: nearly everyone in the country has them in their blood. Nothing has ever stuck to the family.
